Animal & Stall Information

Be sure to follow all State or Province laws and/or rules regarding health certificates and/or Coggins tests for each State or Province that he/she is traveling in or entering, and must have the necessary paperwork in regards to your stock.

HORSE STALL INFORMATION

  • NO COGGINS NO STALL 
  • The Barn Manager is Nic Robertson at 512-734-1105.
  • All horses will use Horse Barn #1.
  • Enter Fairgrounds Gate 11 from Schiller Street (Off of Roosevelt St.).
  • Early check-ins begin at 1 pm Thursday, April 23rd – FIRM!
  • All horses must be out by 10 am, Monday, April 27th.
  • The first horse stall is FREE. Additional stalls are $25. You must reserve the appropriate number of stalls and prepay for additional horse stalls with pre-registration. Stall fees for additional horse stalls are nonrefundable.
  • Stalls for horses not used in competition will cost $30.00 each for the weekend.
  • A late fee of $50 will be assessed, per horse stall, to contestants who did not reserve the adequate number of horse stalls on their entry form or who did not per-register for the rodeo.
  • Tack stalls are $30 each for the entire weekend. 
  • You may bring your own shavings. If bought at the Fairgrounds, the cost is $8 per bag.

A veterinarian will be on-call for emergencies during non-rodeo hours. The name and number of the on-call veterinarian will be posted in the barn area of the rodeo weekend. A list of on-call farriers will be available during on-the-ground, horse activities.  Name(s) and number(s) will be posted in the barn area and posting board.
